The city of Indian Wells is home to some of the country's wealthiest retirees who flock to world-class golf courses once played by entertainer Bing Crosby and President Dwight D. Eisenhower. It's home every year to the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic golf tournament and the prestigious Desert Town Hall of Indian Wells lecture series. In addition to building an incredible following of residents and tourists, the city hopes to become Coachella Valley's financial district, enticing brokerage, accounting and banking firms to build and settle within city limits.
